Kent Told me How he Heat Treated the Blade to Perform as Best as Possible. The blade is 5160 Spring Steel that’s been forged, triple normalized and triple annealed. I used Satanite on the spine and edge hardened. Edge down in a coal forge the old timey way. Even used lump charcoal since I was out of coal and really didn’t want to go get more. Anyway the ting will pass a journeyman’s test. Triple tempered after hardening.
